These launch terms provide clear preliminary information. Service-specific terms will also form part of each accepted quotation or subscription order.
1. Operator
UK Site Comply is operated by D Stanley, trading as UK Site Comply, from 26 Coxes Lane, Ramsgate, Kent CT12 6SA. Contact: enquiries@uksitecomply.co.uk.
2. Intended customers
The service is intended principally for contractors, consultants and other persons acting for business purposes in the UK construction industry. Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract. A contract begins only when scope, price and terms have been accepted.
3. Nature of the documentation
Documents are prepared from information supplied by the customer. They support compliance but cannot, by themselves, make a project or organisation compliant. The relevant client, designer, principal designer, contractor and principal contractor duties remain with those appointed under applicable law.
4. Customer responsibilities
The customer must provide complete and accurate project information, check the draft against actual site conditions, arrange competent approval, communicate the final arrangements to those affected, monitor implementation and notify us of material changes. A document must not be used where its assumptions no longer match the work.
5. Document format, licence and protection
Final documentation will normally be issued as a protected PDF bearing the customer, project, document reference and revision information. Unless agreed otherwise, the customer receives a non-transferable licence to use the document for the named organisation, activity and project only.
Documents must not be resold, published as templates, stripped of identification, reused for another project, or supplied to another automated or artificial-intelligence system for adaptation or replication. PDF controls deter casual copying but cannot prevent screenshots, optical character recognition or deliberate extraction.
6. Included revisions
Two reasonable rounds of amendments are included without additional charge, provided they are requested within 14 calendar days of the first issue and remain within the original agreed scope. Customers should therefore check each draft carefully and consolidate comments.
Changes to the project, scope, sequence, plant, substances, dutyholders, site conditions or other underlying information are new or additional work and may be charged separately. Corrections required because of our own drafting error do not count against the two revision rounds.
7. Response and urgent work
We aim to acknowledge enquiries within 24 hours during normal business hours. This is an acknowledgement target, not a guaranteed document-delivery period.
Normal business hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in England. Expedited work and work undertaken outside those hours are subject to availability and prior written agreement. A surcharge of 100% of the normal fee will ordinarily apply.
8. Opening subscription offer
For a limited launch period, a new paid Essential or Professional subscriber may receive one standard RAMS pack for one named activity on one project without an additional document fee. Complex or higher-risk activities may require a separate quotation. The offer has no cash value, is not transferable and cannot be combined with another offer.
9. Prices and payment
Website prices are indicative unless expressly stated otherwise. VAT will be applied if legally required. The final price, payment timing and delivery basis will be stated in the accepted quotation, invoice or subscription order.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any service-specific liability provisions will be stated in the accepted engagement terms. Customers remain responsible for stopping work where conditions are unsafe or materially different from the documented arrangements.
11. Law
These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory legal rights applying to a customer.
